Japan-inspired origami art, cards and gifts for any occasion.

Made in the U.S.A.

Welcome.

Inspired by the aesthetics of our Japanese and American grandmothers, we invent one-of-a-kind artworks for sharing the joys of life. Our award-winning origami collages of historical sites, athletes in action and country scenes are part of private collections in the U.S. and Japan and have been exhibited across the United States including The Museum of the Hudson Highlands, the American Crafts Festival, the White Plains, NY Outdoor Art Festival, the Lincoln Arts Festival and the J.W. Marriott Hotel of Grand Rapids, Mich.

Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper. A beautiful two- or three-dimensional origami shape is created by folding a single piece of paper. In Japan, the word “kami” – from which “orikami” comes – means both “paper” and “god-spirit,” such as those spirits that inhabit the awe-inspiring natural sights of mountains, rivers and large, old trees.

To create scenes that reflect a mood or a place or a person, we invent original origami shapes from handmade Japanese papers, fabrics or metals. Our work is a modern adaption of the tradition of origami and reflects a blending of two cultures. Ask us about custom origami scenes for any occasion.

Enjoy.
